The Tree Sliders by Land Rover Passion for the New Defender 110 are compatible with all engine variants of the 110 series. Designed in 3D CAD and engineered to meet the demands of the most discerning off-road enthusiasts.
On a long-wheelbase vehicle like the New Defender 110, the sills are among the most exposed areas to impact. The factory protection – a simple plastic trim – is entirely inadequate for preventing damage during off-road use. The role of a Tree Slider is not only to protect the sills but also to deflect tall obstacles such as rocks or trees away from the bodywork.
Following Land Rover Passion’s philosophy, already applied to our Tree Sliders for Discovery and Range Rover models, the Tree Sliders for this vehicle must meet the following essential criteria:
- Strength: The side bars must be robust enough to support the full weight of the vehicle without flexing, while still allowing the doors to open freely.
- Footprint: They must offer maximum protection to both the sills and bodywork without reducing ground clearance or extending beyond the vehicle’s legal width.
- Smooth Sliding and Bolt Protection: The Tree Sliders for the New Defender feature a wide, smooth slider surface that aids in gliding over obstacles while also shielding the bolt heads.
The side bars, made from heavy-duty box section steel, are connected to the sill profile via tubular cross-members, fully welded to ensure rigidity and strength throughout the structure. With the dedicated adapter, the Tree Sliders are also compatible with Hi-Lift jacking.
To ensure superior corrosion resistance, Land Rover Passion Tree Sliders for the New Defender undergo a dual-stage painting process: first with a zinc-enriched primer, followed by a textured black topcoat. Supplied with stainless steel mounting hardware.
Installation Note: Underbody covers must be removed prior to installation.
